Leh
is a beautiful barren desert situated at 3,505 meters above sea
level in lap of the Great Himalayas. Leh is the main tourist gateway,
its the largest town in the Ladakh region. It is ideal destination
for nature lovers and adventure freaks. The main highlights includes
the breathtaking landscaping, the enchanting rives, snowcapped mountains
complimenting the blue sky, time stopping silence of the desert,
temperature below zero and Ladakh festival, in short nature's untouched

Ladakh
means the land of high passes, also known as the land of endless
discoveries, the moon land, little Tibet, situated on the Northern
part of India at an altitude of 9000 feet to 25000 feet, bounded
by the Great Himalayas, in the Karakoram ranges.
It is believed that Ladakh was once under water centuries ago.
A Buddhist saint, Dha Chomba Nomegung came from Kashmir and prayed
for the existence of human life there. His prayes were listen and
water receded, giving way to mountains and valleys. Then came three
different races i.e. Mon, Brokpa,and Tibetans in search of pasture
and settled down in different region.
Gifted with high mountain, valleys, lakes beautiful ancient Buddhist
monasteries on hill top and their resident (monks) chanting prayers,
absolutely different culture, courtesy and the smiling faces of
the Ladakhis is like an icing on the cake - adding further to its
breathtaking landscapes. The charm of its landscape and people will
